This is something I had been meaning to create for sometime having been previously put up with my pegs overflowing from their current home and constantly having to retrieve strays from the ground. They're now neat and tidy in a cosy home which I can hang on the line and easily pop my hand in to grab pegs as needed.
With the assistance of an old coat hanger (a pretty useless plastic one that everything I put on it slid off) and lots of brightly coloured yarn I hooked up this stripy goodness in just a couple of evenings.
Lots of lovely fresh colours to brighten up all this grey weather that we've been having. I've kept the pattern of colours and widths of strips random varying as I went along. The bottom of the bag is strengthened by being worked in single crochet and the rest was worked in half double crochet. The whole bag is worked in the round as a single piece. I will write up the pattern and publish it on my crochet patterns page shortly.
This bag makes me wish I had a laundry line! It's perfect for those pesky pegs that won't stay put!
